Good Day All!

I will be returning to the LA Mission in Downtown Los Angeles for their annual summer block BBQ event.  Soles4Souls is donating 6,000 pairs of shoes to men and women in need of a new pair!  The event will be at the Los Angeles mission from 10am-2pm.

UPDATE: Actor Donald Faison of Scrubs will be with the Soles4Souls crew helping hand out shoes at the LA Mission.  Thank you to Donald for making the effort to be a part of this great event!

Back in March I attended the FOX Gives event in FOX studios.  The group of people I signed up in March will be heading with me to the Midnight Mission to volunteer.  At the event Soles4Souls is giving thousands of people in need new shoes.  Thank you to the employees of FOX who signed up for this fabulous event!

Good Day All,

I will be working at the Gibson Auditorium located at Universal Studios for the next few weeks.  I am working in the production office as a production assistant.   I am looking forward to my time here and getting a behind the scenes look at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards!

Hello-

I am packing my bags and heading to Las Vegas for  Miss USA 2009.  I will be working for the Miss Universe Organization for the week.

Good luck to all the titleholders, especially my former Teen, Alison Cronin who is now Miss Massachusetts USA 2009.  I truly believe every titleholder is a winner.  My advice to the contestants is to have fun and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.

For the second year in a row FASHION ROCKS THE UNIVERSE will be taking place at Planet Hollywood.  I was a model in the show a year ago and had a blast.  Below is a photo of the Sherri Hill gown I rocked on the runway.

Hi All,

I will be representing Soles4Souls at the annual LA Mission’s Easter Celebration in Downtown LA on Friday.

From the LA Mission:

In traditional fashion, the Mission will provide over 3,000 hot meals for the homeless and hundreds of Easter baskets for the children. In addition to the normal festivities, the Los Angeles Mission Community Clinic will set up a station to clean the feet of our homeless guests! Volunteers must be at least 12 years old and the group limit is 10 including the leaders.

I will back in Boston to help send off Miss MA, Miss CT and Miss VT in style!  100% of the proceeds from the event will go to the Children’s Hospital in Boston.  I will be modeling  in the fashion show  with other former Miss USA state title holders.  For ticket information go to click here.

On Thursday March 19th FOX held their 1st annual Philanthrophy Fair.  I attended the FOX Gives event representing Soles4Souls.  The event was a grand success.   I signed up nearly 100 volunteers for our next event on June 4th with the LA Midnight Mission.  Thank you to FOX for putting on a wonderful event.  I look forward to working with FOX Gives in the future.

I had a wonderful time at Sundance with Real TV Films.  I was able to interview dozens of cast, crew and visitors to the film festival.  Slamdance coincides with Sundance, it is another film festival in Park City.  I was honored to interview and get to know the cast and crew of the documentary HEART OF STONE. HEART OF STONE won best documentary at Slamdance!  Director Beth Kruvant and Exec. Producer Paul Bartick uncover the story of Principal Stone  and his will to unite his students at Weequahic High School with the help of the Alumni Associations program. The Alumni Association is headed by Hal Braff, a big thank you to Hal.  It was great to get to know you at Sundance/Slamdance.

Happy New Year!

I am thrilled to begin 2009 back on the red carpet at the Critics’ Choice Awards.  The Critics’ Choice Awards are held annually by the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) to honor the finest in cinematic achievement.  The winners will be revealed at the 14th annual Critics’ Choice Awards broadcast live on VH1 on Thursday, January 8th from the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
