My pageant coaching business SASHES & CROWNS is headed to Arizona! Tara Darby and I will be in Phoenix, AZ February 3-8, 2010. We will be teaching a segment on FOX Phoenix on Thursday February 4. As many of you know I have been a correspondent for Real TV Films in Los Angeles for the last year. Thanks to Real TV Films I have been able to hone my reporting skills and travel to the best red carpet events around Hollywood and the country. On November 12, 2009 at the Apollo Theater Real TV Films founder Gordon Vasquez and his correspondents will be accepting the 2009 “Breakthrough Media Award”! Good Day All!
I will be returning to the LA Mission in Downtown Los Angeles for their annual summer block BBQ event. Soles4Souls is donating 6,000 pairs of shoes to men and women in need of a new pair! The event will be at the Los Angeles mission from 10am-2pm.
UPDATE: Actor Donald Faison of Scrubs will be with the Soles4Souls crew helping hand out shoes at the LA Mission. Thank you to Donald for making the effort to be a part of this great event!

Hello-
I am packing my bags and heading to Las Vegas for Miss USA 2009. I will be working for the Miss Universe Organization for the week.
Good luck to all the titleholders, especially my former Teen, Alison Cronin who is now Miss Massachusetts USA 2009. I truly believe every titleholder is a winner. My advice to the contestants is to have fun and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.
For the second year in a row FASHION ROCKS THE UNIVERSE will be taking place at Planet Hollywood. I was a model in the show a year ago and had a blast. Below is a photo of the Sherri Hill gown I rocked on the runway.

I will be representing Soles4Souls at the annual LA Mission’s Easter Celebration in Downtown LA on Friday.
From the LA Mission:
In traditional fashion, the Mission will provide over 3,000 hot meals for the homeless and hundreds of Easter baskets for the children. In addition to the normal festivities, the Los Angeles Mission Community Clinic will set up a station to clean the feet of our homeless guests! Volunteers must be at least 12 years old and the group limit is 10 including the leaders.
Thank you to the LA Mission for inviting Soles4Souls to help with the festivities.

On Thursday March 19th FOX held their 1st annual Philanthrophy Fair. I attended the FOX Gives event representing Soles4Souls. The event was a grand success. I signed up nearly 100 volunteers for our next event on June 4th with the LA Midnight Mission. Thank you to FOX for putting on a wonderful event. I look forward to working with FOX Gives in the future.

About the event: Actress Jessica Biel and her family’s Make The Difference Network will host a star studded Holiday Party to benefit Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in association with Costco, who continues raising millions of dollars for the hospital over the years. Make The Difference Network & Auction Cause are hosting an auction on Ebay which goes live on Monday, December 8th of one of a kind celebrity experiences and signed memorabilia of which 100% of the proceeds will benefit the amazing work of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Actor & comedian Kevin James (“Chuck & Larry”) will host the live auction at the party. The goal of the auction is to fund CHLA’s three holiday wishes.
I am looking forward to the event.
